Wherever and however you choose to host your social, Sands has lots of great ideas to help you bring your community together. Whether it’s a BBQ, party or picnic, in your garden, park or community centre, the Sands Summer Social is a great excuse to get together and fundraise for an important cause.

When can I host a Sands Summer Social
We are encouraging supporters to host their Social on the 25th June but if this date doesn't suit you can pick an alternative.
I want extra materials for my Sands Summer Social. Where can I get these?
Should you need extra materials from you Sands Summer Social please do visit our shop where there is a range of materials to inspire and help you.
Im not sure what type of event to hold for my Sands Summer Social
You can choose to do something small with friends and family or maybe you would like to go bigger with a street party or an activity at your community center? Sands Summer Social is about getting together with others, having fun and raising vital funds. The team are here to help should you wish to talk through your ideas and below are a few suggestions.
Is there a fundraising target?
We have no minimum or maximum amount that we would like you to raise. From our point of view, no matter how much money you raise, it will make a difference to bereaved families across the UK, and for that we are so grateful. We suggest setting yourself a target as it can be helpful to have something to aim for.
When will my pack arrive?
All pack should be received within 10 days of registering for the event. If you have any questions or your pack has not arrived please contact fundraising@sands.org.uk
What else can I do this June to support Sands?
There is a range of ways that you can get involved and play your role within the Sands Community. Please go to the main Together we are Sands page to find out more and learn about the steps that you can take.
How do I pay in my fundraising?
If you’ve collected offline fundraising, the easiest way to pay this to Sands if by donating it to your Facebook fundraiser.
You can pay in your donation on our website here. Make sure to say that your money is for your Sands Summer Social in June.
Make sure you email your sponsorship form to fundraising@sands.org.uk a after donating so we can claim valuable gift aid.
If you’re not able to donate this way, then drop us an email to fundraising@sands.org.uk and we can discuss other ways of getting the donation to us.
How can I promote my Sands Summer Social?
We have a range of digital assets to help you promote your Sands Summer Social. These can be found on our Social Media resources page and in our online shop. Please do have a look!
Can I get a t-shirt for my Sands Summer Social?
T-shirts are £5 and are available to order in our online shop
I want to set up a fundraising page for my Sands Summer Social.
One will be automatically set up when you sign up on our preferred fundraising platform, but if you'd prefer to use Justgiving you can and all funds will come straight to Sands.
Do you have a tribute wall I can add my baby's name too?
We have a dedicated virtual Summer Garden where you can dedicate a pin wheel in memory of your loved ones.
